A receptacle, e.g. a moulded plastics basket, having two hooped handles 2, 3 swingable away from each other or together for carrying, handle 3 has a moulded or extruded plastics grip 4 pivoting on it with a groove 5 which snaps on handle 3 to lock the handles together and provide a smooth grip.
