Abstract
995,323. Brushes. C. & L. E. ATTENBOROUGH Ltd. Feb. 21, 1964 [Feb. 27, 1963], No. 7804/63. Heading A4K. The hub of a rotatable brush is made of plastics material and has a tapered bore 2 surrounded by cavities 4. Three equally spaced radial webs 5 define part-annular cavities 4 extending to bridge 10. The bore 2 has a taper which is slightly less than that of a course screw-threaded arbor on to which the hub is screwed. The hub is preferably constructed of cellulose acetate, but polystyrene or polyethylene may alternatively be used.
