Abstract

The invention comprises dithiocarbamic acid esters of the formula <FORM:0994546/C2/1> wherein X represents oxygen or sulphur and R represents an alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, alkaryl or cycloalkyl radical which may be optionally substituted, e.g. by Cl, Br, nitro or alkoxy. The above compounds are prepared by reacting methylamine and carbon disulphide with a vinyl compound of the formula CH2 = CH.X.R.ALSO:Fungicidal and nematicidal compositions contain as the active ingredient dithiocarbamic acid esters of the formula <FORM:0994546/A5-A6/1> wherein X represents oxygen or sulphur and R represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, alkaryl or cycloalkyl radical.
