994,534. Overhead travelling cranes. PACIFIC COAST ENGINEERING CO. May 8, 1963, No. 18242/63. Headings B8B and B8H. [Also in Division B7] An overhead travelling crane comprises a trolley assembly 47 running on rails 45 along girders 5, 7 supported by end frames 9, 11 each carried by one driven wheel 23 and one steerable wheel 21. A clamping frame 49 is supported from the trolley assembly 47 for carrying cargo containers 3. The steerable wheels 21 are mounted in yokes 29 rotatable by hydraulic steering jacks 63 (see Division B7) which are so controlled that the axle centre lines of the steerable wheels intersect at a common point on the axle centre lines of the driven wheels.
