Abstract

The circular machine is driven from an electric motor through an infinitely variable transmission which is adjustably controlled by a reversible electric motor. The controls for the motor may be conveniently disposed around the machine and include limit switches which stop the motor when the transmission reaches a position in which the machine achieves either its maximum or minimum speed.
