[Also in Division A4] In a hair curl clip comprising moulded plastic arms B, C, pivoted at D and biased to clamping position by a spring H, each arm has a handle 10, 12, a tapering clamping part 14, 16 and nesting channel-section pivotal regions F, G, the region G having side walls 36<SP>1</SP>, 38<SP>1</SP> formed with integral pivot pins 40, 42 and the region F having side walls 36, 38 formed with elongated apertures 44, 46 for rotatably seating the pivot pins and extending from the pivotal axis to the outer surface of the arm. The side walls 36, 38 taper in thickness towards the ends 48, 50 and are a minimum at the outer surface of the arm. The spring H is a blade, helical, or coil spring and engages notches or bosses in the handles. The clamping parts 14, 16 have a tapering external rib 22, 24 and parallel rows of teeth 30, 32.
