In a furniture foot construction a leg 10 has at its lower end 13a a square crosssection formed on opposite faces with parallel sided grooves 14, 15 extending vertically and accommodating the inner end of a foot 11, or 12 of triangular shape, the foot 12 being provided with a threaded rod 20 which passes through a passage in the leg to engage a threaded wheel 22 in an aperture 16 in foot 11. The leg may have a vertical slot so that the height can be adjusted and clamped by the means of wheel 22. In a modification a single pedestal leg has four feet.
