Abstract
989,929. Poultry feeding devices. A. J. MCGUINNESS. Nov. 4, 1963 [Feb. 18, 1963], No. 43439/63. Heading A1M. A poultry feeding device comprises a mash container 1 adapted to be suspended in an upright position and a feeding tray 2 pivotally attached to the lowermost end of the container with clearance therefrom in such a way that poultry feeding from the tray causes pivotal movement of the tray with respect to the container to maintain the flow of feedstuff. The tray may be carried by a rod 3 passing diametically through the container or be pivotally trunnioned to the container. A pair of perches 5 are secured to the tray, the centre of which may be convexed inwardly toward the container.
