[Also in Divisions B3 and H2] A machine tool comprises a reciprocating saddle 14 carrying an electric motor 16 and a tool 17 axially aligned with the motor. The motor casing 29 is formed with a screw-threaded portion en gaged by a nut 28 having a wormwheel formed on its outer surface. The casing is advanced by rotating a handle 22 connected to a worm 27 engaging the nut 28.
