Abstract

987,846. Vehicle steps. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. March 20, 1964, No. 11996/64. Heading B7B. A step 17 is slidably mounted in guides 13 and is reciprocated by rotation of the rod 19 which has levers 21 welded to it, the levers 21 being connected by links 23 to the step. Rotation of the rod 19 is effected by links 27, pivoted bell crank lever 31 and the link 35, the latter being connected to an arm 37 welded to a rotatable rod 39. The rod 39 is rotated by an arm 41 welded to it and which has a roller 43 engaging a track 45 mounted on the vehicle door 9.
