In a pick-up device for sound reproduction particularly for the sound track of films in an audiovisual juke-box, (Fig. 1 not shown), light production means is linearly and angularly adjustable with respect to a mounting. A plate block 19 is supported by a flange (not shown) carried by a pin 18 which is threaded into a lower fixed bracket 13 and passes through a bore in an upper fixed bracket (not shown). Thus rotation of the pin 18 raises or lowers the block 19. The block 19 can also be rotated about pin 18 to a limited extent by movement of two dowels 23, of which only one is shown in Fig. 3, acting on respective balls 22 bearing on the bracket 13. After adjustment the dowels can be locked in position by lock nuts 24. A support means 25 is attached to block 19 by two spring loaded pins 27, of which only one is shown complete in Fig. 3, and can be adjusted relative to the block by an adjusting screw 28 bearing on the block. In a similar manner a lamp holder L is attached to support means 25 by spring loaded pins 35 and may be adjusted by screw 36. Support means 25 is provided with a depending arm (hidden by lamp holder L in Fig. 3) carrying a split collar which supports a lens which is rotatable about its axis in its mounting. The lamp and the lens can be rotated about the pin 18, can be moved across the film 44 by means of screw 28, and can be raised or lowered relative to the film by rotating pin 18; the lamp can be moved across the film by means of screw 36; and the lens can be rotated about its axis.
