[Also in Division B6] A means for supporting pinch or squeegee rolls, between which metal or other strip is passed, so as to permit lateral movements in a plane transverse to the strip feed comprises a pair of pinch rolls P mounted in housings 2 on a frame 1 which is pivotally connected adjacent to its comers by links 4, preferably in pairs, to brackets 5 fixed to a tank wall or to a structure mounted therein. In a modification a number of additional pivot pin mounting holes are produced in the link and bracket members so that the angle of intermission of the links can be adjusted to suit the operating conditions (Fig. 5, not shown).
