Abstract

At least the outer sheets of a baby's diaper made of cellulose wadding are impregnated with alkyl-dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride, e.g. tetradecyl-dimethyl-benzyl ammonium chloride, or bromo-salicyl-bromoanilide. These compounds are bactericides. The diaper, or the cellulose wadding before being dried and cut into diaper sheets, may be sprayed with aqueous solutions or suspensions of the above compounds.
