[Also in Division B4] A rotary-percussive rock bit comprises a radially disposed cutting edge 23 and two non- radially disposed cutting edges 24. The radial cutting edge 23 extends to a short distance beyond the centre 13 and is formed from two pieces 18, 20, a notch 25 being formed where the two pieces abut. The two cutting edges 24 may be arranged in a T-shape as shown or in a Y-shape. Ports 26 are provided for a flushing liquid.
