Abstract

An animal feedstuff in the form of an aqueous emulsion particularly for lambs, comprises 5-15% (preferably 7-13%) fat which is liquid at climatic temperatures e.g. arachis oil 3-18% (preferably 4-6%) carbohydrate e.g. glucose, lactose, and 3-8% (preferably 4-6%) sodium or potassium caseinate. The fat is preferably present in the emulsion in the form of globules of average diameter 20 microns. The feedstuff may also contain vitamins, emulsifiers, anti oxidants, flavouring and sweeteners and assimilable calcium and phosphorous.
