Description

"VIT-LAP". A PROTEIN DRINK.
Over the years the eating habits of men and women have changed significantly.
They are now conscious of the calorific value of the many and varied foodstuffs they prepare - they are conscious of the protein value and the cholesterol value of all they consume. No longer are household pets the cat and the dog - fed from scraps of food left over from "the master's table".
A huge market has built up nationally and internationally in pet foods; foods contained in tins and other wrappings for cats and dogs.
A proliferation of brand names, advertising the nutrient value of foodstuffs for cats and dogs now line the shelves of supermarkets and even 'the shop on the corner' in villages and towns. Vast sums of money are invested in television and newspaper advertising to popularise the many brands of cat and dog food available but as yet little attempt has been made to introduce a drink for these pets which can contain the same nutrient value.
According to the present invention there is provided a preparation of nutrients contained in a drink for household pets to augment or replace the presently accepted dish of milk or water.
1while this commodity is manufactured,it has no structural shape nor operational components and is therefore not illustrated by any drawing to accompany the description.
This invention comprises a mixture of many constituents, specifically proportioned to provide a pleasantly acceptable drink for cats and dogs.
"VIT-LAP A Protein Drink.
The protein drink is given the name "Vit-Lop" and contains proven nutrient value additives in the acceptable 'vehicle',sater.
The constituents are beef extract ,water as the 'vehicle',vegetable powder; yeast extract;glycerine of vegetable origin;chicken powder;beef powder; stock of these latter two ingredients,Riboflavin B2; Vitamin B12; extract of soya bean;theat flour; colour caramel;salt;sugar;Vitamen C;Niacin and preservative E20 2.
The quantities of each ingredient are each carefully measured and introduced to the vehicle water to produce a safe ,nutritious and inviting drink for pets.
While the basis of this invention is specifically relative to cats and dogs as house pets, the Vit-Lap" protein drink may be additionally beneficial to any other animal.
Being a product which may be manufactured and produced only as the result of the use of production machinery and processing systems it complies with the qualifications governing patentable items. Because the product has no tangible shape other than that which might be taken up by a liquid, no drawings are submitted in support of the application for patent recognition.
In the embodiment herein submitted the basic ingredient is beef extract, but in any other embodiment the basic ingredient can be any one of thc "Vit-lap" A Protein Drink.
following extracts :- CHICKER LIVER FISH TURKEY RABBI? LAMB The preparation of the additives as herein described, included with the main extract , comply with an accepted and laid down procedure for each embodiment of the invention and need not form the basis for a separate patent application because only the quantity 8dministered would vary as required to comply with the practicability of the application.
