975,654. Non-metallic pipes. J. K. W. BAINES, A. S. BAINES, and T. B. C. DAVIS. March 27, 1963 [March 30, 1962], No. 12377/62. Heading F2P. [Also in Division E2] A resilieintly flexible plastics strip material for forming an irrigation or drainage pipe has on one longitudinal edge thereof a row of spaced tabs 11 each having a head 13 joined to the strip by a neck 15 defined by undercut recesses 14 at each side of the base of the head, and on the other longitudinal edge a row of correspondingly spaced elongated slots 18 each long enough at the inner edge 19 thereof to allow the head of a co-operating tab to be passed therethrough, the outer edge 20 of each slot carrying a secondary tab 23 joined integrally to the margin of the strip at the outer edge of the slot and extending across the central region of the slot towards the inner edge 19 from which the tab is separate. The pipe may be formed from two strips as shown in Fig. 3. Specification 975,653 is referred to.
