[Also in Division G5] A device for adjustably-connecting parts of a lay figure comprises two discs 1, 4 secured by screws 3, 6 to the two parts of the lay figure, the disc 1 having a keyhole slot 2 to receive a boss 8 with recesses 9 and carried by the disc 4 so as to connect the parts non- rotatably together, the boss 8 being mounted on a separate member 7 which can be rotated relatively to the disc 4 so as to adjust the positions of the figure parts and can be frictionally locked to the disc. The boss 8 projects through a hole 5 in the disc 4 and the member 7 is pressed against the disc by a strip 10, the pressure of the strip 10 being adjustable by screws 11 accessible at the exposed face of the disc. The pressure may be such that the discs 4, 7 are locked against relative rotation, or such that the parts of the figure will normally retain one position but can be relatively adjusted after assembly.
