973,269. Shipping containers. HIGHWAY TRAILER INDUSTRIES Inc. Aug. 13, 1963, No. 31864/63. Heading B8P. A shipping container designed to drain condensation has spaced side walls 9, 12 partitioned by aluminium members 15 between which are breather and drainage units 32. The wall 9 is of aluminium; the wall 12 of plywood with a layer 14 of aluminium behind which are wooden strips 16. Moisture passes up through apertures 30, Fig. 3, in a ceiling 23 of wood, having a metal cover 24 with corresponding apertures, and condenses on an aluminium cover 19 supported by joists 18. The liquid then runs down the sloped ceiling, between the strips 16 and into the space between the walls 9, 12; it falls on to the units 32 through which it passes out from the container walls, Fig. 5. The front of the container has hinged doors, Fig. 1 (not shown). The floor 42 and units 32 are wooden.
