Abstract

972,624. Semi-conductor rectifier assemblies. INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER CORPORATION. June 11, 1963 [June 20, 1962], No. 23276/63. Heading H1K. A conductive support structure 20 receives the same electrode 40, 41, 42 of each of three rectifiers 30, 31, 32 in intimate electrical and thermal contact, the rectifiers having second electrodes directly connected to respective extending plug members 37, 34, 38 which are engageable with respective plug-receiving terminals 8, 9, 10 of a three-phase source 1 of alternating current. The terminals 8, 9, 10 are carried within an insulating block 13 forming one wall of a housing for the A.C. source 1. The assembly is intended particularly for use in a motor vehicle.
