Abstract

967,410. Writing tablets. R. V. LANGBART Ltd., [trading as T. X. PRODUCTS]. July 22, 1963 [Aug. 29, 1962], No. 33104/62. Heading B6P. A writing tablet comprises a sheet or plate covered with a dark adhesive layer, an intermediate semi-transparent sheet, and an overlying transparent sheet, and written matter is obliterated by a slider 3 movable between the adhesive and the semi-transparent sheet, the slider 3 being movable along a flexible band 4 secured to a backing board 1 or to the back of a board 5 secured to the board 1. The slider is formed with two slots for the band to pass through, with finger-engaging means 13. The board 1 may have pivoted thereto at its left edge a front plate with an aperture for the tablet and slider, and after location of the tablet and slider on the board 1, the front plate is secured thereto by adhesive.
