881,697. Writing tablets. NORTHWICK TRADING CO. Ltd., and MARION & FOULDER (1933) Ltd. March 16, 1960 [May 20, 1959], No. 17178/59. Class 146(2) A writing tablet of the type having a plate 9 covered with a dark adhesive layer and a semitransparent sheet also covered by a further transparent protective sheet has a case folded on a line 7 to provide two halves, which are embossed at 4, 5 to form flat marginal edges 8. The usual opening 3 is provided. The plate 9 and associated sheets 10 are placed in the recess 5 together with a strip 11 designed to separate the sheets. The halves are folded about the line 7 and the margins 8 together with the ends of the strip 11 are secured together by adhesive. The margins are subsequently trimmed and if desired suitably coloured.
