Abstract

Dust and fluff in a knitting machine is whirled up by compressed air and withdrawn from the machine by suction. Suction pipes leading from a housing or housings surrounding the appropriate parts of the knitting machine lead by way of a dust separator and remover to the inlet of a blower, which delivers dust free compressed air to ducts which lead to points in the machine where the dust has accumulated.
