966,386. Decoy birds. W. H. DUROWS, and P. V. W. KNOWLES. May 17, 1961 [May 17, 1960], No. 17307/60. Heading A1M. [Also in Division E2] A bird or animal decoy is mounted on a support peg 6 by means of a suction cup 3 and a resilient member 4 which may be formed integral with the cup 3 or comprise a rubber tube which receives an axial spigot formed on the cup. The member 4 may be formed with notches 7, the mounting being applied to the decoy with the notches 7 directed towards the head and tail of the decoy so that the decoy performs 'pecking' movements. In a modification the member 4 comprises a coiled wire spring.
