[Also in Division E1] For securing interchangeable implements, e.g. scoops, on a tractormounted, power - actuated lifting unit, e.g. a pair of vertically swing- able, hydraulically actuated arms 1 pivotally mounted at 2 on a frame secured to the tractor, there is provided between the lifting unit and the implement coupling means that automatically engage and lock the lifting unit to the implement when said unit is advanced towards the implement but which have to be manually disengaged when the lifting unit is to be separated from the implement. The coupling means comprises on each arm 1 an upstanding pin 4 that engages beneath a leaf-spring 5 on each of a pair of arms 9 of the implement, the springs 5 riding up over the pins 4 as the arms 1 are advanced to slidingly engage along the arms 9 until the pins 4 enter apertures in the springs 5 to lock the arms 1 and 9 together. Levers 6 pivoted on the arms 1 permit of raising the leaf-springs 5 clear of the pins 4 when the arms 1 and 9 are to be disengaged. The frame on which the arms 1 are pivoted is so mounted on the tractor that it may easily be detached from the tractor, the frame being connected to a sub-frame 10 on the tractor by slidably engaging pins and bushes 13, 14 and rotatably locking pins 17, 20 and bushes 19.
