A vibration damping laminate comprises outer skins of structural material and an intermediate section of alternate layers of structural material and viscoelastic material, the layers of the intermediate section being perforated with the perforations in register, there being a viscoelastic layer between the intermediate section and each of the outer skins. The structural material may be e.g. aluminium sheet or glass fibre reinforced synthetic resin and the viscoelastic material may be silicone rubber sheet polyisobutylene or polyvinyl acetate with a vermiculite filler. Sheets of aluminium may be coated or treated for bonding to the rubber and bonded to silicone rubber sheets in a mould. Typical thicknesses of sheets are between 0.005 inch and # inch.
