Abstract

963,672. Filters. O.M.E.G.A. ELETTRODOMESTICI S.A.S. March 15, 1963 [March 15, 1962], No. 10275/63. Heading B1T. A dust extractor comprises a casing 1 having a handle 2, a scroll 4 within the casing and surrounding a fan 5 driven by an electric motor (not shown), the scroll being open to atmosphere, a flange 6 in the casing to which is secured a textile filter 9, a dust tray 11 removably secured to the casing 1 below the filter 9, the latter being held in position by a frame 7 connected to the flange 6 by springs 8, and an electromagnet 13, 14 whereby the filter 9 may be shaken. The casing 1 is provided with a carrying belt or strap 3. The electromagnet 13, 14 is operated by a push button switch (not shown) located on the casing 1.
