A pipe supporting bracket comprises three strip metal parts, one being contoured to form a semi-circular cradle 1 with radial arm 2 welded or permanently fixed at 8 to a wedge-shaped member 3 bent at points 4, 5, 6, and 7 which is built into a wall; the third member shaped to form a semicircular cap 9 with a short radial arm 10 which is screwed at 11 to the other two members. The cap and cradle may engage at notch 13. In another enbodiment, the member 3 is replaced by two bent arms which are screwed to the wall. Member 3 may be ragged.
