963,165. Angular bending; forging; making rail anchors. POOR & CO. Aug. 7, 1962 [Feb. 7, 1962], No. 30252/62. Headings B3A, B3E and B3H. [Also in Division E1] A rail anchor A is formed from T-section stock by dies D and E, Fig. 1, a die cavity E<SP>1</SP> being shaped to form a slightly domed shoulder S. The shoulder S is then located in a groove 10 in the die F of a finishing press and an arm G moved pivotally to complete bending of the anchor to the form shown in Fig. 4 in which a shoulder S with a rectilinear edge is flanked by arcuate portions.
