Abstract

1492881 Making diaphragms for hydraulic accumulators K-H THOMAS [trading as LANGEN & CO] 28 Feb 1975 [8 March 1974] 8477/75 Heading F1D A flexible partition 7, Fig. 1, with a closure 15 for an accumulator 1, is formed in an injection mould having an ingate coaxial with the partition so that a plug shaped extension 16, Fig. 4, is produced which has a cross-section corresponding to that of the ingate. The closure 15 is fitted over the plug and the part of the plug which projects is deformed by pressure and/or heat to form a head which retains the closure 15. Deformation may be produced by an inductively heated tool 24.
