962,034. Endless conveyers. T & T. VICARS Ltd. April 16, 1963 [May 12, 1962], No. 18356/62. Heading B8A. A sheet of dough 30 is transferred from one endless belt conveyer 10 to a second endless belt conveyer 12 at an angle to the first by a roller 14 comprising a number of slots 18, each being independently displaceable parallel to the axis of the roller and urged into contact with a stationary cam 24 (either by springs or a co-operating cam 28). The cam 24 is so profiled that no stress is induced in the sheet of dough 30 as it passes around the roller 14.
