960,626. Trailer draw-bar arrangements. FORTSCHRITT ERNTEBERGUNGMASCHINE VEB. Sept. 5, 1961, No. 31824/61. Heading B7T. A vehicle chassis on which an agricultural implement 14 is mounted comprises, a single axle 1, a strap 4 which may move around the axle and provides a vertical pivot axis 6 for a draw-bar 3, an adjustable prop 15 pivotally connected at points A and B to the draw-bar and the implement respectively, and a strut 7 having a plurality of holes (not shown), which co-operate with a locking pin 9 and a catch 8 on the draw-bar to hold the bar in either the working position 10 or a towing position 11. The implement 14 is mounted on apertured collars 12 on the axle, and the axle itself may be extended by a flange 16. The points A, B and C, Fig. 4, form the corners of a triangle of forces. In a modification the vertical pivot axis 6 (Fig. 3, not shown), may pass through the axis of the axle.
