Abstract
959,475. Alternators. ROTAX Ltd. June 4, 1962 [June 19, 1961], No. 22000/61. Heading H2A. In an alternator as described in Specification 959,474, the rotor poles 1 which project through apertures 5 in the rotor tube 4 are of square shape with the corners cut off at 2 and the apertures are of similar shape but with recesses 6, so as to reduce flux leakage. The surfaces 2 may be straight or arcuate.
