A mould for casting concrete blocks consists of a rectangular box open at the top and bottom with liner elements 14 on two internal walls. The liner elements are uniformly tapered in thickness and provision is made for the insertion of similarly tapered division plates 8 adapted to be mounted in position in the mould between adjacent end wall liner elements 11, 12 and bolted to the end walls 3, 4, one of which 4 is detachable or hinged.
