959,152. Lighting devices for rifle grenades. ANSTALT FUR DIE ENTWICKLUNG VON ERFINDUNGEN UND GEWERBLICHEN ANWENDUNGEN ENERGA. Dec. 3, 1962 [Dec. 23, 1961], No. 45661/62. Headings F3A and F3C. A sighting device for a rifle grenade provided with a tail empennage 2, Fig. 1, comprises a support 1 adapted to be temporarily fixed to the empennage 2 by feet 3, Figs. 4, 5 (not shown), the support 1 having guides 4 in which a movable sight 5 is adapted to slide from a storage position, Fig. 1, to an aiming position, Fig. 3, the support being also provided with a clip 6 for holding a blank cartridge 7 for firing the grenade. On moving the sight to the aiming position, a stud 8 on the sight 5 pushes the cartridge 7 out of clip 6. A plug closing the tail of the grenade is held in position by the sight 5 when in storage position.
