A tip or buffer for furniture legs comprises a saucer-shaped portion 1 having a securing pin 2 riveted at its centre, the member 2 being covered with rubber 3 or like material. In a modification Fig. 4 a securing member 21 is held in position by arms 24 formed integral with a cup shaped member 22, the arms 24 abutting the head 23 of member 21 and allowing some movement of member 21 within the covering 25.
