Abstract

955,483. Multiplex radio signalling. CESKOSLOVENSKA AKADEMIE VED. Sept. 30, 1960 [Sept. 30, 1959], No. 33565/60. Drawings to Specification. Heading H4L. Relates to a system for the generation of the carrier frequencies of at least two television transmitters sharing a channel, wherein the respective carrier frequencies differ only by a small value (the offset value) from the nominal frequency of the channel. The offset value is made a multiple of the frame frequency and it is stated that this reduces mutual interference. A block diagram of a television transmitter showing the frequency changing &c. to produce a specified carrier and offset frequency is included. In the example given the offset frequency is approximately <SP>2</SP>/ 3 of the line frequency and is derived from the frame frequency which itself is controlled by the 50 c/s. mains frequency. The frame synchronization means is common to all the transmitters.
