[Also in Division G4] A circuit for indicating whether charging current is being fed to a battery 15 comprises a lamp 23 which is illuminated through a transistor 22 rendered conductive by the potential across a resistor 16. The arrangement may be applied to the personal radio receivers of a paging system to indicate whether the receiver batteries are on charge by using the lamp or an electromagnetic indicator to show whether a person is in or out.
