Means for securing components 10 to a. channel member 1 comprises cross-members 5 tapped for the securing screws 11 and registering with openings 4 in the flanges 3 of the member 1. The screws pass through holes 2 in the channel web. A shoulder 8 on the member 5 locates it laterally, and the holes 9 in the member are offset so that the member may be re-positioned in the same recesses 4 but with the holes 9 registering with different holes 2. The cross-member 12, Fig. 4, may extend diagonally across the channel, which may be reinforced by an inner channel 14, Fig. 6, between which and the channel 1 the member 5 is received, the channels being connected by screws 19. A box construction (not shown) may be formed by reinforcing the channel member with an inverted channel member.
