Abstract

697,385. Clamps. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. May 30, 1952, No. 13816/52. Addition to 691,030. Class 44. The strap 3 described in the parent Specification is secured to the chassis or panel 2 by means of bars 4, each having a tapped hole to secure a screw 5. The bars may be T shaped as shown so that the shanks limit the extension of the strap by abutting the member 2, to prevent the corrugations 6 being fully extended. Alternatively the shank may be omitted and the extension of the corrugations limited by allowing the shackles to abut the member 2.
