952,095. Cable sheathing. SCHWERMASCHINENBAU ERNST THALMANN VEB. Dec. 21, 1960, No. 43896/60. Heading B3P. A cable sheathing press has at least one fluid cooled cable guide 6 disposed within the mandrel 1 and consisting of resilient steel tube 6 which bears against the cable core 3 in proximity of the mandrel exit orifice. The extruded aluminium cable sheath 8 is spaced from the core 3. Water is circulated through passages 4, 5 in a pair of guide tubes 6 of U-shape.
