Abstract

950,047. Couplings; terminal boards and blocks. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. Oct. 19, 1962, No. 39653/62. Heading H2E. A tag strip acting as a connector between a strip of contact blades and a circuit board for use during development stages is in the form of a strip of resin bonded glass fibre material, 1, carrying conducting tapes 2, and riveted on to the plate 6, carrying wires 7. The ends of the strip of contact blades 8<SP>1</SP> are bent over the edge of the strip and soldered to the conducting tapes whose other ends may be soldered to leads from the circuit board. The plate 6 may be of insulating material, or Fig. 3 (not shown) of metal in which case the tag-strip 1 overhangs the edge of the plate to isolate the ends of the strip of contact blades.
