[Also in Divisions F1 and F2] During operation of a centrifugal circulating pump (see Division FI), liquid is induced to flow through slots 24 provided with filter mesh 25 into a chamber 13, housing the armature of an electric driving motor, by liquid already in the chamber 13 being sucked out through grooves (not shown) parallel to the shaft 5 in a bearing 12. Thus circulation of the liquid results which deters solid particles from lodging between working parts of the motor and also cools the motor.
