Abstract

948,691. Making deflection coils for cathoderay tubes. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS G.m.b.H. Jan. 4, 1962 [Jan. 26, 1961], No. 377/62. Heading B3A. [Also in Division H1] A coil 4 for a cathode-ray tube deflection system (see Division H1) is stamped out from a metal sheet 8, Fig. 5, and formed by bending along the lines 10, a turn 7 being show in crosssection in Fig. 3 where 2 is a ring yoke on which the coil is threaded. Suitable metal for the coil is copper, brass or aluminium and the sheet and consequently the coil turns may taper in thickness.
