Abstract

948,105. Aircraft ground service connections. M. L. AVIATION CO. Ltd. Nov. 20, 1962 [Nov. 20, 1961], No. 41465/61. Heading B7W. [Also in Division E2] An opening is provided in the fuselage of an aircraft so that a hose 5 can be connected, by means of a bayonet fastening 3, 4, which is automatically released as the aircraft moves off (see Division E2) to the aircraft ventilating system when the aircraft is on the ground. The opening has an inner, sealing door 6 and an outer access panel 15 held together in the closed position (Fig. 2, not shown) by a latch fastening (see Division E2). The door and the panel are closed on removal of the hose by a cord 28.
