[Also in Divisions F2 and G1] A gas control valve (see Division F2) is operated by a temperature sensitive tubular member 2 which is fixed at one end and free to deflect at the other end when heated by the plane of a pilot or other burner 3. The valve member 4 is moved to open position on failure of the burner. The valve may control a weep gas line from a diaphragm controlled main or relay valve in order to operate the latter.
