[Also in Division G4] Cylindrical articles 4 stacked vertically between channel members 3a, 3b (Fig. 1, not shown) are released singly under gravity when a solenoid 11 is energized by a pulse, a relay (not shown) being connected in series with the solenoid 11 to break the solenoid circuit when a limb 8a has been released until the end of the operating pulse. Baffle 6 is so counterweighted that it only tilts to allow an article from a shoot 5 to enter the channel members 3a, 3b when the article is correctly aligned with its full weight on the baffle. The articles dispensed may be counted (see Division C4). Specification 920,933 is referred to.
