Abstract

1276605 Simulating gun-fire J O HOFFMANN [trading as HOFFMANN-WERKE J OSWALD HOFFMANN] 25 Aug 1970 [23 Sept 1969] 40832/70 Addition to 1190701 Heading F3C Firing equipment for simulating gun-fire includes a plurality of firing cups for accommodating pyrotechnic devices, each firing cup being associated with a separate detonating device which can be set off by means of control apparatus which comprises a stepping switch actuable by a release contact of a gun to route successive detonating impulses to different firing cups. In the construction shown the stepping switch has an energizing coil 108, moving contact 114 and output contacts 120 ... 130. The contact 114 may be moved through impulses provided by a hand-operated impulse emitting means without consequent detonation of the pyrotechnic devices through a normally closed switch c of a switch set 106. Key operation opens the switch c and allows the moving contact to connect the detonating devices to a source of current. When the circuit is in the firing condition warning lamps 116, 134 are activated. During firing control lamps 120<SP>1</SP> ... 130<SP>1</SP> are activated in sequence.
