Abstract
1326593 Firing equipment J O HOFFMANN (trading as HOFFMANN-WERKE J OSWALD HOFFMANN) 10 Aug 1970 [25 Oct 1969] 38370/70 Heading F3X Equipment for simulating the effect of exploding shells when hitting a target 200 comprises a plurality of firing cups for accommodating pyrotechnic devices, each cup being associated with a seperate detonating device, which can be set off, as selected by a control apparatus 204 connected to a signal emitting means 205 which is arranged to co-operate with the target 200. The control apparatus 204 may include a step-by-step switch such that successive signals from the signal emitting means 205 are passed to different firing cups after or during each hit (Fig. 2, not shown). A key operated safety switch is also provided in the control apparatus.
