Abstract

945,929. Valve oscillating circuits. RADYNE Ltd. Oct. 26, 1962, No. 40606/62. Addition to 877,014. Heading H3F. [Also in Division H1] A valve oscillator for high-frequency dielectric heating which is a modification of that disclosed in the parent Specification comprises a cylindrical cavity resonator 2 in which the cavity is resonated by a pair of series-connected condensers. One comprises cylindrical element 10 attached to one end 4 of the cavity 2, in conjunction with a further cylindrical element 14 which is supported on insulators (not shown). In the present modification the second condenser comprises the anode to grid capacity of the valve 20, the anode 22 of which is attached to the element 14 and the grid connected to one end of the cavity over D.C. blocking condensers 26. An output signal is applied to the live dielectric heater electrode 54 via conductors 54.
